how to join
the requirements to join centre are fairly simple, all we're looking for is:
• a username that is any variation of the name of the celebrity you're choosing to play
• an icon of the celebrity uploaded
• friend add centre
• request access to the sub-communities
• both a friends only post and a screened post(you can friends lock these once you've been added!)
wire screen names are not mandatory but are encouraged in order to form stronger bonds with other members. we also require examples of at least one entry and one scene, which can either be in a locked post in your journal or posted in our screened post.
we ask that your celeb is 18 or older if you plan to apply as them, thank you!
while we'd prefer if your celebrity had an imdb or wiki page, we realize that there are some that don't. it's up to the mods descretion for what will pass as celebrity - ie a big youtuber that doesn't have a page.

IMPORTANT: upon applying please make sure anons are disabled on your journal, and once you have been accepted into the community set your journal so only community members can comment you! please do not hide your userinfo with noembed, as mods we need it to see when you've last updated and if you're running the button per activity rules. if your friends list is hidden while applying we will reject you, and if you hide your userinfo after joining it is grounds for an override

introing

intros must be made in userpics within five days of being accepted and at least 50% of the comments must be responded to within three days of posting. if you have any questions regarding this, please ask us!

update expectations
updates are required every 3 weeks and we have a few ways you can update.
• regular updating of your choosing! we only ask that you have at least 200 words in whatever format you choose.
• place holder - we'll allow a place holder once in leui of an update, though expect to see the comments posted in it be responded to as if you would a regular update. we understand that sometimes the creative muse isn't there, or your celebrity can often leave you guessing - especially right now - but interaction is always key. place holders can not be used back to back. so every 6 weeks we require an "effort" update
• instagram, moodboards, playlists - any of these require effort, though, not necessarily written words. they count as an "effort" update.

hiatuses & extensions
extensions are granted based on your activity, if we haven't seen activity from you within the past 3 weeks before your update we will not grant your extension! since the community is so large, if we aren't sure of your activity we will ask you to prove it before we grant it. PLEASE do not take this personal, sometimes it is hard for everyone to stand out to us.
if we feel anyone is abusing the hiatus system, we will deny you a right to one!

overriding
if you wish to override someone, please ask us first! sometimes people appear up for override but they might have put in for hiatus or extension and we may not have replied to them yet so you wouldn't know.
wire is not mandatory and we do not judge activity this way so we base things on the friends page, here are a few ways people can be up for override!
•a friends list 2 weeks outdated or more
• they haven't commented anyone or the majority of comments on their last update
• they don't show any friends page activity
• we give people a week to comment back on any posts they make
if someone applies to override you and we okayed it, showing activity once they have applied will not erase the override. if you an override question, let us know! you only need to ask if the person is up for override. for ex: is celeb name here up for override?

harassment
we have a no tolerance policy for the harassment of our members. we want to provide a safe environment for everyone to interact and have fun, so if you are being harassed ic or ooc by another member do not hesitate to contact us in our dropbox or by pm. you must contact us with your member journal and not an anonymous one. once we've reviewed the situation, we will make a decision on whether or not there is action we can take as mods to resolve the issues you're having. even if you're not sure if it's harassment but someone is doing something that makes you uncomfortable, or if you need help with anything, we are always here to do our best to help you!

if you're being bothered by anonymous commenters in your journal, go to your comment settings and enable commenting from registered users only.
MISC
us mods would like to be as transparent as we can with our members. we will not be around much on-off add days (tuesday, thursday, saturday, and sunday) unless there is an important question or something that needs to be replied to right away. for ex. an extension that we need activity proven then a mod will be around at some point in the day to let you know. if you put in for an extension or hiatus, don't panic! it will be granted the next add day and you will not be overridden.
